Tryphonos 615
"Kawasaki's race
rep' (ZXR750), renowned for it's sharp steering, felt fat and
vague by comparison."
Superbike 1993
The first prototype was built my Mike in 1990 as a final year
thesis of an engineering degree at London's South Bank University. It was built on a budget and so was based around
a GPz550 engine bored out to 615cc.
It was tested by Jon Doran of Superbike magazine who was
more than impressed
by
the
handling
over conventional
systems. And wrote of getting back on the ZXR750 (one of the best
supersports bikes available at the time) that "Kawasaki's race rep',
renowned for it's sharp steering, felt fat and vague by comparison." |
